Vienna Community Action Committee

The Vienna Community Action Committee, abbreviated VCAC, was organized in September 2024 by the Vienna Township Trustees and a dedicated group of residents shortly after the Vienna Township Neighborhood Watch disbanded.

At the time, residents recognized that there was a need for a new community group to continue previous activities once hosted by the former Vienna Township Neighborhood Watch. Events such as the chili-cook off, Christmas Giving Tree, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas decorating at the Bicentennial Gazebo, and the visit with Santa Claus were continued by the group. VCAC also wanted to start new traditions in the Township to promote positivity and assist the community.

The first event hosted by the newly formed group was the chili cook-off at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department on October 14, 2024.
