The Vienna Dairy Queen was known to have been in business from at least 1956 until 2024. The business was located at 921 Youngstown-Kingsville Road.

It was operated by Carroll and Joan (Horne) McAllister in 1956 [1], Kenneth Pelton by 1960 [2], and then Dean & Louise Tricker by 1968. The Trickers ran the business for approximately 35 years.[3] In 1999 the property was transferred to the Trickers' daughter Gayle (Tricker) Suroiu. After Gayle's death in 2020, her husband, Nick Suroiu, continued to operate the franchise until 2024.

The building was sold in 2024 to Jacqueline (Scott) and Justin Staats. The name of the business was changed to Route 193 Treats and Eats, thus ending the Dairy Queen franchise.

[3] Dean Tricker's obituary states that he owned the Vienna Dairy Queen for 35 years. Alan Fiest recalls working at the Vienna Dairy Queen in 1968 when Dean and Louise Tricker were owners.
