Vienna General Store and Meat Market

The Vienna General Store and Meat Market stood between the Hayes Barber Shop and Shoff's Store, on land now (2014) occupied by the Dollar General parking lot.

The Vienna General Store sold groceries, clothing, household items, gasoline, and at some point introduced and maintained a meat market.

This business had at least seven operators through the years: Smith Scovill, D. M. McClurg, Roy Chadwick, Alfred Gail, Edgar Hayes, Kenneth McElrath, and Charles (Sam) Scott.
