Wartman's Store

Wartman's Store, located on the north side of Warren-Sharon Road east of Vienna Center, was owned by Kline W. Wartman (sometimes spelled Wortman), the son of an early Vienna family.  The general store sold groceries, gasoline, oils, tobacco, cigars, candy, and soft drinks.

Fred Shoff later purchased this building and operated a grocery and meat market within its walls. The building stood near where the former Williams' IGA Supermarket stands, which is now the Dollar General.
