The institution was located at 4434 Warren-Sharon Road and operated from 1972 to 2022.

Years later, the name of the bank was changed to Cortland Banks.

In 2021, Farmers National Bank announced a merger with Cortland Banks. Signage at the bank switched from Cortland Banks to Farmers National Bank in March of 2022.
